With a great deal of satisfaction and a bit of trepidation I've flipped the switch to make my first publication visible... so without further ado: Workin' Out - a short AVN.

As a long time fan of the VN format, I've often though about writing and publishing my own - but haven't, because reasons.

Recently, while dealing with bouts of insomnia, I've been trying something new - instead of lying in bed tossing and turning or reading until the sun comes up, I get up, open the laptop and start writing or visualizing or whatever. This story is the result of some of those delirium induced writing sessions. 

The other reason I've never pursued publishing seriously is a decided lack of artistic talent, so I've begun exploring the world of AI generated art, specifically Stable Diffusion. That's it's own challenge - as it can generate pretty pictures, but as opposed to its name; the results are anything but stable. I'm sure I'll detail that later as I work through some more of those issues.

But back to the issue at hand: this release.

This is a simple AVN; no dialogue choices, no stamina points, no multiple LI's to pursue; it's just a short story told in words and pictures. I've already outlined all 5 chapters and this release represents approximately one third of the total story.  As a rough estimate, it's taken me about 15 nights to complete the previsualization, learn the basics of Ren'Py and get this release wrapped up. I will try to keep the same aggressive development cycle for the remaining parts, but I expect parts 2 and 3 to take a bit longer as the technical aspects of the images are going to be more difficult.
